Katia Swane-Barzowski, BA

Director of Administration, Operations, & Patient Care

Katia found her place in the wellness community as a key administrative assistant for several wellness collectives and currently serves as the office/operations/all things admin manager for Clarity Integrative Psychiatry. She has extensive administrative and project planning experience through both these positions and previously as manager of a swim school. Katia enjoys providing excellent customer care and through her work has cultivated a deep knowledge of holistic processes and modalities.

Katia has completed notable projects for Clarity including spearheading the organization of the Psytech 2020 Boulder conference. She believes that excellent customer service is a cornerstone of holistic healthcare and endeavors to provide a listening ear and exceptional service to all.

Katia grew up in a small town in southern Missouri and her path took her all over. From college starting in southern Illinois and ending in Bath, England, to backpacking and working her way around Western Europe, to waiting tables and "using her degree" for project-based work and networking around Memphis and Chicago, to landing in Denver in 2019. She loves to meet people and explore but has found a home in the foothills. Katia has a passion for mental health and wellness as her own story includes a journey through anorexia nervosa, and a family history with depression, anxiety and addiction.

Katia loves reading, writing, swimming, and hiking through Colorado and beyond. She has a particular love of open water swimming and regularly competes. In addition to her work, she is currently volunteering through Crisis Text Line and has an eye on gaining certifications in health and wellness coaching (and maybe beyond!) and hopes to continue serving Clarity clients in any way she can.
